Ginger Cultivation Season
Generally sow in spring and harvest before frost. Since ginger is warm, not cold and frost-resistant, it must be cultivated in a warm and frost-free season. The following conditions should be considered to determine the sowing date of ginger:
⒈According to the temperature required for germination, the seeds should be sown when the ground temperature of 10 cm is stable above 16 ℃;
⒉According to the growth habits of ginger, in order to obtain a higher yield, 135-150 days are required for ginger growth; according to local climatic conditions, ginger is generally sown from after the startling to mid-April. The sowing is too early and the ground temperature Low, slow germination, too late sowing, shorten the growth period and reduce yield.
