Ginger Leaf Blight Prevention Method
Ginger leaf blight is a fungal disease, which mainly damages the leaves. The primary yellowish-brown spot on the diseased leaves gradually spreads to the entire leaf. The diseased part produces small black spots. In severe cases, the whole leaf becomes brown and dead.
The prevention method is:
⑴Agricultural measures: Rotate crops with gramineous or non-solanaceous crops for more than 3 years; apply fully decomposed organic fertilizer.
⑵Pharmaceutical control: spray ginger plants with 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder 600 times liquid or 1:1:200 Bole multi-liquid at the initial stage of the disease, once every 7-10 days, for 2-3 times in a row.
