Prevention And Treatment Of Ginger Spot Disease
Ginger spot blight is a fungal disease, which mainly damages the leaves. The leaf spots are yellow-white, prismatic or oblong, 2-5 mm in length, and thin in the middle of the spots, which are easy to rupture or perforate. In severe cases, the disease is densely covered, and the whole leaf looks like a few dots, so it is also called white star disease.
The prevention method is:
⑴ Agricultural measures: avoid continuous cropping and partial application of nitrogen fertilizers, pay attention to increasing the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers and decomposed organic fertilizers.
⑵Pharmaceutical control: spray 50% compound thiophanate wettable powder 1000 times liquid or 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder 600 times liquid in time in the early stage of the disease, once every 7-10 days, for 2-3 times in a row.
